Hamrun gained 3 precious points beating Mosta by the odd goal in three. Mosta scored first on the 24th minute when  Terzysky released DA SILVA who tapped into an empty net after Casha had only partially parried. The Spartans's reaction was immediately, wining 4 consecutive corners, the last corner taken by Bajada on the 35th was well converted in the net by Cesar Paiber who returned from an injury. On the 44th minute Hamrun was awarded a penalty after won a penalty on 44 minutes when Brian Agius was judged to have fouled Roderick Bajada in the box. From the spot, STEFAN SULTANA made no mistake coolly placing the ball to the right of Agius. The second half was a very entertainment one with Mosta pressing to find the equaliser but always found Spartan's defense steady and operating with 3 counter attacks, Stefan Sultana watched his solo effort going just wide, Gaetan Spiteri missed a golden ball when Brincat served him with a perfect cross with the last chance came from Brincat hitting the post after shooting from half the pitch.  After 5 mins of added time, Referre J.R Attard signaled the end with Spartans earning 3 golden points.
